This eas­ily mem­o­rized 4-row re­peat gives the il­lu­sion of stars swing­ing. The beau­ti­ful bor­der, made us­ing a com­bi­na­tion of V-stitches and shells, com­pletes the look.

• Red Heart Soft medium ( worsted) weight acrylic yarn ( 5 oz/ 256 yds/ 141g per skein): 4 skeins # 4620 minty • Size L/ 11/ 8mm cro­chet hook or size needed to ob­tain gauge • 4 lock­ing stitch mark­ers • Ta­pes­try nee­dle

In pat­tern: 12 sts = 4 inches; 9 rows = 4 inches Take time to check gauge.

PAT­TERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work pro­gresses. When work­ing row 4, take care to not miss the first stitch as it can be a lit­tle dif­fi­cult to spot. The tops of the half dou­ble cro­chets lean for­ward cre­at­ing a nice lit­tle chain- like line on the front of the blan­ket. When work­ing Edg­ing, place mark­ers as di­rected for ease of pat­tern read­ing. Join with slip stitch un­less oth­er­wise in­di­cated.
