FINISHING

Position Shell as desired on linen napkin. With length of matching sewing thread, sew Shell to napkin. For swag, cut ribbon in 4 pieces each 6 inches long and 2 pieces each 12 inches long. With RS facing, lay cream and linen Shells in a row alternating colors, with edges touching. Insert the shorter ribbon pieces in edge of 2 adjacent Shells, and then tie ribbon into a bow. Rep with shorter ribbon pieces across until all 5 Shells are joined. Insert the longer ribbon pieces in rem edge at left and right of assembled Shells, and then tie ribbon in a bow at end of ribbon. Lp other end of ribbon around back and glue to back of bow to form hanging lps. Trim ribbon ends. Glue bows to hold in place.

Perfect for a beach house, patio cookout or pool party, this simple motif will add a touch of summertime charm to your table setting.
