PAT­TERN NOTES

Shawl is worked in Pan­els and cro­cheted to­gether as work pro­gresses. Leave 9-inch length at be­gin­ning and end of each row to be in­cor­po­rated into Fringe. Each row is worked with right side fac­ing. Do not turn through­out. Join with slip stitch as in­di­cated un­less oth­er­wise stated. Do not re­move mark­ers un­til in­structed. Chain-3 at be­gin­ning of row counts as first dou­ble cro­chet un­less oth­er­wise stated.

FRINGE

Cut 3 strands each 18 inches long. Work­ing evenly across each short end of Shawl, place Fringe in­cor­po­rat­ing 1 or 2 ad­ja­cent rem 9-inch lengths of yarn. Place 1 Fringe on each lacy edge strip at cor­ners, 2 on each solid strip and 2 on each in­ter­nal lacy strip or as de­sired. Trim Fringe ends even. CW
