PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. To change colors, make last yarn over with next color on last stitch of row. Cut white as necessary but do not cut red. Unless working into ends of rows, all stitches are worked in back loop only. The base row is the wrong side row that is worked from center of circle to outside edge across all 56 stitches. The following 27 rows are worked onto the base row. After last row (Row 392) do not fasten off until instructed to do so. Center of circle, seam and edging are all completed before fastening off. Larger hook is used in certain places to ensure that beginning chain and seam are not worked too tightly in relation to surrounding stitches.
