PATTERN NOTES
Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-2 at beginning of round does not count as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
SPECIAL STITCH
Picot: Ch 3, sl st in top of indicated st.
Braided Cable
Rnd 1: With front side facing, [sk next 2 sts, fptr (see Stitch
Guide) in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts, fptr in 2 sk sts, fptr in next 2 sts] rep, join in first fptr, turn at end of the rnd per instructions.
Rnd 2: With back side facing, [sk next 2 sts, bptr (see Stitch
Guide) in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts (as seen
from RS), bptr in 2 sk sts, bptr in next 2 sts] rep, join in first dtr, turn at end of the rnd per instructions.
Cable Stitch
Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in first sc, *ch 3, sk next 2 unworked sc of previous rnd, sc in next sc, turn, work sc in each ch of ch-3 just made, sl st in next sc (1 cable made), turn, working behind the cable, sc in each of 2 sk sc, sk sc that was made after the ch-3, rep from * across, join with a sl st to first sc of rnd, turn.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc (or 4 sc behind each cable) around, turn.
Celtic Weave in the Rnd
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 3, sk 4 sts, fptr in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts, fptr in last 2 sts sk (first 2 sts will be worked at end
of this rnd), *sk next 2 sts, fptr in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts, fptr in 2 sk sts, rep from * around, join in first fptr of rnd, turn.
Rnd 2 (WS): Ch 3, sk 4 sts, bptr in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts (as seen from the front), bptr in last 2 sts sk (first 2 sts that were sk will be worked at
end of this rnd), *sk next 2 sts, bptr in next 2 sts, working in front of last 2 sts, bptr in the 2 sk sts, rep from * around, join in first bptr of rnd, turn. Rep rows 1 and 2 to continue Celtic Weave.
Low Front Ridge
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, working in front lp of previous rnd, sl st in next st and in each st around, join with sl st in first st of rnd, turn.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, working in rem lp, sc in each st around, join in beg sc, turn.

Ch 4, join (see Pattern Notes) in first ch to form a ring.

Rnd 24 (WS): Ch 2, bpdc around each of next 4 sts, [dc between last st and next st, bpdc around each of next 4 sts] around, do not work a dc before turning ch, join in first bpdc, turn.
