• Premier Everyday Soft Worsted medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (4 oz/203 yds/113g per skein): 3 skeins #100-23 mist 1 skein each #100-06 baby pink, #100-01 snow white and #100-12 black • Size I/9/5.5mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle • Stitch marker

GAUGE

7 sc = 2 inches; 9 rows = 2 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Do not join rounds unless otherwise stated. Use stitch marker to mark rounds and move marker as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-1 at beginning of row or round does not count as first single crochet unless otherwise stated.

BLANKET

Row 1 (RS): With mist, ch 96, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each rem ch across, turn. (95 sc)

Row 2: Ch 1 (see Pattern Notes), sc in first st, [ch 1, sk next st, sc in next st] across, turn. (47 ch-1 sps, 48 sc)

Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc in next ch-1 sp, [ch 1, sk next st, sc in next ch-1 sp] 46 times, sc in last st, turn. (46 ch-1 sps, 49 sc)

Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, [ch 1, sk next st, sc in next ch-1 sp] 46 times, ch 1, sk next st, sc in last st, turn. (47 ch-1 sps, 48 sc)

Rnd 1: With baby pink and RS facing, join (see Pattern Notes) in end of last row at upper left corner of blanket, sc in same st, working across next side, sc in end of each row across to first row, 2 sc in end of first row, working in opposite side of foundation ch, sc each ch across, working across next side, 2 sc in end of first row, sc in end of each row across to last row, 2 sc in end of last row, working across last row of blanket, sc in each st across, join in beg sc, place marker. Make this sweet little blanket for your sweet little lamb! Worked in simple stitches, the crocheted sheep motif is stitched to the blanket when it is finished.

FINISHING

Using photo as a guide and with RS of Blanket facing, sew body of lamb, head, tail and legs to bottom right corner of blanket. When sewing pieces to blanket, use care so that yarn does not show on WS of blanket.
