• Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet size 10 crochet cotton (350 yds per ball): 1 ball each #420 cream, #495 wood violet and #661 frosty green • Size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook
or size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle
GAUGE
Rnds 1 and 2 = 13/8 inches; outer flowers = 13/4 inches; 3 rnds blocked = 1 inch
PATTERN NOTES
Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Cosmos flowers bloom in a wide variety of colors, but perhaps the purple flower is best known. This pretty little doily begins with one motif at the center surrounded by lacy shell stitches that are bordered with a whole bouquet of delicate blooms.
