MATERIALS

• Premier Yarns Cotton Fair fine (sport) weight cotton/acrylic yarn (31/2 oz/317 yds/100g per skein):

3 (4, 5, 6) skeins #25 succulent • Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle

GAUGE

16 dc = 4 inches; 8 dc rows = 4 inches Take time to check gauge.

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Tee is worked in 2 identical pieces for Front and Back. Tee is designed with 4–6 inches of positive ease, with a large Neck opening designed to drape over shoulder.

PATTERN STITCH

Row 1 (RS): Ch 3 (see Pattern

Notes), *dc in next 6 sts, [ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st] twice; rep from * across, turn.

Row 2: Ch 3, *ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next 7 sts, ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st; rep from * across, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, *[ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st] twice, dc in next 6 sts; rep from * across, turn.

Row 4: Ch 3, *dc in next 3 sts, [ch 2, sk 2 sts, dc in next st] twice, dc in next 3 sts; rep from * across, turn. Rep rows 1–4 for pattern.

TEE

FRONT/BACK Make 2. Ch 74 (86, 98, 110).

Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn. [73 (85, 97, 109) sc] Rows 2–6: Ch 1, sc in each sc across, turn. Work in Drifting Diagonals

(see Pattern Stitch), starting with row 1, until piece measures 15 (151/2, 151/2, 151/2) inches from beg ch. Do not fasten off.

Sleeves

At the beg of next 2 rows, ch 26, then beg working pattern in 4th ch from hook Continue to work even in pattern until piece measures 20 (21, 211/2, 22) inches from beg ch.

Shape Neck First Shoulder

Next row: Ch 3 and work 3 reps of pattern (36 sts), turn leaving rem sts of row unworked. Working across these 37 sts only, continue in pattern until piece measures 22 (23, 231/2, 24) inches. Fasten off. 2nd Shoulder Join (see Pattern Notes) yarn 37 sts in from edge.

Next row: Ch 3 and work 3 reps of pattern (36 sts), turn. Working across these 37 sts only, continue in pattern until piece measures 22 (23, 231/2, 24) inches. Fasten off.

FINISHING

Sew Shoulder seams, sew Sleeve and side seams.

Sleeve Cuffs

Rnd 1 (RS): Join yarn at Sleeve seam, ch 1, work approximat­ely 56 (60, 64, 68) sc around Sleeve, join in first sc. [56 (60, 64, 68) sc] Rnds 2–6: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in first sc. Fasten off. Rep for opposite Sleeve.

Neck Edging

Rnd 1 (RS): Join yarn at Shoulder seam, ch 1, work approximat­ely 128 (152, 176, 200) sc around Neck opening, join in first sc. [128 (152, 176, 200) sc] Rnds 2–6: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, join in first sc. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
