• Red Heart Super Saver medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (7 oz/ 364 yds/198g per skein): 1 skein each #265 redwood

and #321 gold • Size I/9/5.5mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle

Rows 1–6 = 2 inches; 7 sc = 2 inches

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Chain-4 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet and chain-1 unless otherwise stated. Chain-1 at beginning of row does not count as first single crochet unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Chain-6 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet and chain-3 unless otherwise stated.

FINISHING

For each fringe, cut 12 strands of redwood or gold yarn each 18 inches long. Hold 12 strands tog, fold in half, insert hook through indicated sp, place fold on hook, and draw fold through, forming a lp on hook; draw ends of strands through lp on hook and pull gently to tighten. Trim ends of each fringe to 71/2 inches long. Place 1 gold fringe on each end of scarf in ch-1 sp between dc and set of 2 dc on rows 2, 6, 24 and 28, and between dc and puff st on row 15. Place 1 redwood fringe on each end of scarf in ch-6 sp or ch-1 sp between dc and set of 2 dc on rows 9, 11, 19 and 21.
