PATTERN NOTES

If using scrap yarn remnants, allow 2–3 yards for each row. Hold 2 strands together throughout unless otherwise stated.

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Chain-2 at beginning of row or round counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

crochet (ext hdc): Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, pull up a lp, yo, draw through 1 lp on hook, yo, draw through 3 lps. Horizontal half double crochet in back bar (horizontal back bar hdc):

Working on back side of indicated st, hdc in horizontal bar directly below top lps. Extended horizontal half double crochet in back bar (ext horizontal back bar hdc): Working on back side of indicated st, ext hdc in horizontal bar directly below top lps.
