Quilted Pot Holder Set
PATTERN NOTES
Use larger hook unless otherwise stated.
When changing colors, work to last stitch indicated, leave 2 loops on hook on last stitch, yarn over with new color and pull through both loops to complete single crochet.
Carry unused yarn in back of work. Tie off when no longer needed.
Weave in loose ends as work progresses.
Block if desired.

ASSEMBLY
POT HOLDER #1
Using tapestry needle and white, embroider zigzag sts between colors as shown in photo.
Place front and back with WS tog. With G hook and working through both thicknesses, join white with sl st in upper righthand corner st, ch 1, (sl st across edge to next corner, work 2 sl sts in corner) 3 times, sl st across to beg corner, ch 15 (for hanger), sl st in same place as first sl st. Fasten off.
POT HOLDER #2
Using tapestry needle and jute, embroider zigzag sts between colors as shown in photo.
Place front and back with WS tog. With G hook and working through both thicknesses, join jute with sl st in any corner, ch 1, (sl st across edge to next corner, work 2 sl sts in corner) 4 times, placing last sl st in same st as beg. Fasten off. Hanger
Leaving an 8-inch tail, join jute with sl st to plastic or metal ring, ch 1, work 20 sc around ring, join with sl st in first sc. Fasten off.
With 8-inch tail and tapestry needle, sew ring to same corner as beg sl st. Fasten off. POT HOLDER #3
Using tapestry needle and black, embroider zigzag sts between colors as shown in photo.
Place front and back with WS tog. With G hook and working through both thicknesses, join wine with sl st in upper righthand corner, (sl st across edge to next corner, work 2 sl sts in corner) 4 times, placing last sl st in same st as beg. Fasten off.
