join): With slip knot on hook, yo, insert hook in indicated st or sp, yo, draw up lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook.

BLANKET

Rnd 1 (WS): With cotton tail, ch 3, join (see Pattern Notes) to form a ring, ch 3 (see Pattern

Notes), (2 dc, ch 1) in ring, (3 dc, ch 1) 3 times in ring, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3, turn (see Pattern

Notes). Fasten off. (12 dc)

Rnd 2 (RS): Dc join (see Special Stitch) with cream in any ch-1 sp, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-1 sp, ch 1, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) around, join in first dc, turn. Fasten off. (24 dc)

Rnd 3: Dc join cotton tail in any corner ch-2 sp of previous rnd, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, rep from * around, join to top of first dc, turn. Fasten off. (36 dc)
