• Red Heart Super Saver medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (7 oz/364 yds/

198g per skein):

2 balls #512 turqua

1 ball each #324 bright yellow, #316 soft white, #368 paddy green and #672 spring green

Small amount of #312 black • Size H/8/5mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle

• Stitch marker

GAUGE

7 dc = 2 inches; 3 rnds = 2 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.

Frog is worked in continuous rounds; do not join unless otherwise stated. Place marker on first stitch and move up as each round is completed.

Rnd 4: [Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 3 chs, sk next sc, sl st in next sc] around, working last sl st in first ch of beg ch-6. (9 petals)

Rnd 5: Working behind rnd 4 in sk sc, sl st in first sk sc, [ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next 3 chs, sl st in next sk sc] around, join in beg sl st. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

FROG Head

With spring green, ch 2.
