Don’t be fooled! There is not a popcorn in sight! These pillows are crocheted using cluster stitches to make nice round bobbles that really stand out!

Pillow front is worked from the center out in a square with turned rounds.

Back is worked in two pieces from the center out and then rows worked along overlap edge for opening to insert pillow form. One overlap edge has buttonholes for fastening opening closed.

Join fronts to backs using 1 top and 1 bottom back piece to each front piece, place WS tog with top back piece over bottom back piece overlapped in center, matching corners to front piece, then matching stitches along sides going from corners to center.

Using attached yarn to front piece and RS of front piece facing: Rnd 1: Ch 1, *working through all thicknesses, sc in top of each st or ends of rows to corner ch-2 sp, working through both ch-2 sps, work 3 sc in ch-2 sps*, rep from * to * 3 times, sc in each st back to first sc, join in beg sc. Rnd 2: Ch 1, reverse sc (see Stitch Guide) in each st around, join in beg reverse sc. Fasten off. Sew buttons on back bottom piece, matching to buttonholes on top bottom piece.
