Facebook Q&A: What’s your favorite stop along the ICW?

Oriental, NC, is a really friendly cruiser town. Every time we walked somewhere, people stopped to ask if they could take us anywhere. – Terry Wood Oriental is one of the friendliest spots on the entire ICW. It throws great parades, always with a dragon. Like many ICW stops, Oriental has a webcam with which you can watch the waterfront: towndock .net/harborcam. – Wally Moran Belhaven, NC, is my favorite. There’s a wonderful old inn and very relaxed atmosphere. – Bob Newingham We love River Forest Marina in Belhaven. We felt so welcome there. My wife is reminding me of dozens of places. That’s why we don’t plan any more out-ofcountry sailing.
