Southerly, located in Southampton, U.K., and now owned by the Discovery Group, added the center-cockpit 435 to its lineup of variable-draft boats. Boasting a tall fractional rig, a selftacking jib, single-line reefing for the main and an optional removable bowsprit for flying a gennaker, the 435 is designed to sail well shorthanded.
