The Bivy stick works alongside a sailor’s smartphone or other device to communicate SMS messages, track and share location information, access GPS maps, view live weather forecasts, and signal a distress call. ACR plans to roll out the device and service with no annual contract or activation fee, meaning you can choose to pay for the service only when using it.
