With its new 50 footer, Oyster, in collaboration with Humphreys Yacht Design, has shifted gears to focus on couples and other shorthanded crews headed for bluewater adventures. An in-mast furling main and electric winches are standard, as are twin wheels in the cockpit, located a bit forward on the clutter-free deck. The 495 features three cabins and creature comforts aplenty.
