Pepperoni & Sausage Pizza Burgers

4 oz. bulk sweet or hot Italian sausage oz. ground chuck cup grated Parmesan tsp. Italian seasoning

cup purchased pizza sauce slices provolone slices sandwich-sliced pepperoni ciabatta rolls, split and brushed with olive oil

Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush grill grate with oil.

Combine sausage, ground chuck, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Using a 41/ 2- inch-round cutter, shape mixture into 4 patties; coat with nonstick spray.

Grill burgers, covered, until a thermomete­r inserted into centers registers 165°, 4 minutes per side.

Top each burger with 3 Tbsp. pizza sauce, 1 slice provolone, and 3 slices pepperoni. Reduce heat to medium; grill burgers, covered, until provolone melts, 1–2 minutes. Transfer burgers to a plate, tent with foil, and let rest 3 minutes. Grill rolls, uncovered, cut sides down, until lightly toasted, 1–2 minutes. Serve burgers on rolls.
