Salt and black pep­per to taste

cups chopped ro­maine let­tuce

English cu­cum­ber, halved and sliced ribs of celery, sliced Hon­ey­crisp apples, sliced jar sliced pick­led beets (16 oz.), drained and pat­ted dry

Whisk to­gether oil, vine­gar, wine, honey, and Dijon for the vinai­grette; sea­son with salt and pep­per.
