Organized Retail Theft: On Dec. 29and Jan. 11, an unknown suspect entered Target at Main Street Cupertino on Stevens Creek Boulevard and took about $421of store merchandis­e without paying.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 1, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Mcdonald’s on North Stelling Road and took bags containing cash, a laptop and passports for a total loss of about $3,425.

Commercial Burglary: Between 6:30p.m. and 7 p.m. on Jan. 2, an unknown suspect entered Verizon Wireless in the Bottegas Cupertino shopping center on Stevens Creek Boulevard, removed locks and stole two cellular phones for a total loss of about $2,000.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 4:30 p.m. and 5:02 p.m. on Jan. 2, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Park Visitor Center on North

Tantau Avenue and took a bag containing an electronic tablet and headphones for a total loss of about $1,204.

Industrial Burglary: Between 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 2and 8:22a.m. on Jan. 3, unknown suspect(s) entered four Conex containers in a constructi­on area at Vallco Mall on North Wolfe Road by prying at the fencing and cutting locks. The suspect(s) took copper pipes for a total loss of about $3,700.

Vandalism: Between 9:30 a.m. and 4:53p.m. on Jan. 3, unknown suspect(s) threw eggs and rocks at a vehicle parked near the Kwan Music Academy on South De Anza Boulevard causing damage. The total amount of damage was about $3,200.

Residentia­l Burglary: Between 2 p.m. on Jan. 4 and 7:30a.m. on Jan. 5, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 7600block of Elderwood Court by breaking a rear sliding glass door. It is unknown what was taken.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 7:30p.m. on Jan. 6and 8:50 a.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of two vehicles parked in the 7300block of Rollingdel­l Drive. The vehicles were searched, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary: At 7:48 a.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspects broke through a window of a vehicle at Chevron on North De Anza Boulevard. The suspects broke through the window while the victim pumped gas and took a backpack, laptop and monitor for a total loss of about $1,700.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 8p.m. and 9p.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked near Yayoi restaurant in the Homestead Square shopping center on Homestead Road. The vehicle was searched, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 8p.m. on Jan. 6and 8:10 a.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of three vehicles parked at Arata Way and Calvert Drive. The vehicles were searched, but nothing was taken.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 8:30p.m. on Jan. 6and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the 10000block of Wunderlich Drive and took compact discs, a media player and charging cords for a total loss of about $200.

Identity Theft: On Jan. 7, the victim reported unknown suspect(s) hacked the victim’s email account, locked the victim out of the account and was using the account for online purchases for an unknown total loss. The victim lives in Cupertino.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 5:50and 6:05p.m. on Jan. 7, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at Safari Kid preschool on Stevens Creek

Boulevard and took a laptop and a purse for a total loss of about $2,300.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 4p.m. on Jan. 7and 2p.m. on Jan. 8, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked in the 10000 block of Wunderlich Drive and took a flashlight for a total loss of about $10.

Shopliftin­g: At 4:26p.m. on Jan. 8, two suspects entered Walgreens in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road and took unknown items without paying for an unknown total loss.

Theft by False Pretenses: Between Jan. 8 and Jan. 9, unknown suspect(s) telephoned the victim, identified as a US Marshall, claimed the victim had multiple outstandin­g warrants and instructed the victim to provide money via wire transfer to clear up the matter, to which the victim complied for a total loss of about $69,000. The victim lives in Cupertino.

Organized Retail Theft: Between 10a.m. and 10:28 a.m. on Jan. 8, two unknown suspects entered CVS in the Mcclellan Square shopping center on South De Anza Boulevard, then Walgreens in the Pacific Rim shopping center on Bollinger Road, and took about $2,271of store merchandis­e without paying.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 7:13p.m. and 8:45p.m. on Jan. 8, unknown suspect(s) broke through the windows of six vehicles parked at the Cupertino Village shopping center on North Wolfe Road and took electronic­s, jewelry and a passport for a total loss of about $9,520.

Vehicle Burglary: Between 2:05p.m. and 2:22p.m. on Jan. 9, unknown suspect(s) broke through a window of a vehicle parked at the Apple Fitness Center on Bandley Drive and took electronic­s, jewelry, make-up and a passport for a total loss of about $4,271.
