The Circuit: Adapted from the book by Francisco Jiménez, Leo Cortez’s play is a semi-autobiographical account of a 1940s Mexican-american family’s journey from the border through the fields of California. Wartime in Sunnyvale:
The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II, and this exhibit looks back to 1942, when Washington Park became training grounds for recruits and Sunnyvale was inundated with soldiers. Along with many photographs, the exhibit features military paraphernalia from both WWI and WWII. The Mystery of Edwin Drood: Foothill Music Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning musical, adapted from Charles Dicken’s unfinished novel of the same name. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous: FA holds free meetings for anyone in the community who may be suffering from overeating, food obsession, undereating or bulimia.
