Battery collection event

Cupertino residents can bring their old rechargeable devices to a recycling event on Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m., outside Cupertino City Hall. Recyclable devices include mobile phones, electric toothbrushes, laptops, power tool batteries, Bluetooth speakers, rechargeable vacuum batteries, retired e-bike batteries and wireless headphones. Batteries should be removed from devices and data wiped before drop-off.

Every rechargeable lithiumion battery is a source for making new batteries and sustainable products. Recycling keeps batteries out of landfills, reduces the need to mine critical minerals and helps increase the security of our domestic supply chains.
