Did you know...? What counts at Christmas

The count down is on. By now, your list has been revised several times and you are feeling the anxiety of too much to do. Why do we do this to ourselves?

Do you watch the Christmas movies and wonder why your home can’t be that way and the baking always turns out? Well, I can tell you, I have never made sugar cookies before. So instead of purchasing them for the Chief’s Super Kids Club event Dec. 13, I decided to bake because I needed one more thing on my to-do list and I wanted to make special cookies for the children.

I baked all Saturday afternoon, but I can tell you some of my cookie shapes are not perfect. I am thinking the children won’t care as long as it tastes good, just like everything on your list. If it comes with your love and the true meaning of Christmas, that is what counts!
