Lions Club contributes to BBFD fireworks

It may be cold and snowy but the Broken Bow Lions Club is thinking ahead to the Fourth of July. The Lions Club recently made a donation to the Broken Bow Fire Department for the annual fireworks show. “When we started running the fireworks stand, we pledged a percentage of the profit towards the firework display,” Don Wolford with the Lions Club said. “We’ve done this every year since we’ve had the fireworks stand. It’s one of the things we do. We try to support a lot of different organizations.” At left, members of the Lions Club present a $2,000 check to the Broken Bow Fire Department.
