Community choir celebrates Christmas

-

The Broken Bow Community Choir performed “Love Made a Way, The Journey of Christmas” at two performances over the weekend. The 70-member choir under the direction of Bill Reichert (shown in photo), Lance Bristol and Morgan Harms and accompanied by Angie Ripp and Jan Dobesh performed at the First Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow. When asked about the performances, Lola Chapin, long time choir member, stated, “It was just beautiful. The best part are the friendships you form with the members from all other denominations over the county. Many we don’t see again until the next year. At the end of our last practice, Bill Reichert told us, ‘We don’t do this for those attending, we do this for us. It is our way of celebrating Christmas.’”
