Alice Ann Ryan, 65, of Ansley, Neb., wife of Thomas Ryan, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 at the Kearney Regional Hospital in Kearney.

Alice was born May 2, 1955 to Robert and Gail (Davis) Patterson in Kearney. She attended Ansley Public High School and was later employed at Becton Dickinson for 28 years.

No one who met Alice could forget her infectious laugh. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandma who continuously showed her love to her family and friends. Alice’s passions included her family, crocheting, baking, cooking, painting and gardening.

Alice was her children’s and grandchildren’s greatest supporter at all their events. In recent years she could be seen in Kearney at wrestling meets, in Colorado at basketball and soccer games and at Doane University watching her granddaughter play volleyball. When it came to gatherings of any kind, whether it be family or friends, Alice was known to bring “the best” pies.
