Earlier this month Carson Rohde of SumnerEddyville-Miller High School signed his letter of intent to play football and compete in track and field at Concordia University in Seward next fall

According to his football coach at S-E-M and relative Josh Rohde who was a UNK football player, he couldn’t be prouder of him for the work he put in to get to this point.

“I am really proud of what Carson has accomplished in the last year,”

Rohde said. “He worked his tail off last summer in the weight room and it paid off on the field. Not many kids get the chance to continue playing a sport after high school, let alone two. During the recruiting process, the conversation always came back around to Concordia. So, I am glad he found a place that is a good fit for him.”

Currently this season Carson has not lost in the shot put or the disPictured cus event in track and because of the football season he had in the fall he will be playing in the Nebraska Shrine Bowl.
