Sandhills senior receives scholarship

PURDUM - Reed McFadden of Purdum, son of Rick and Dawn McFadden, and Elizabeth Smith of Purdum, daughter of Kim Smith, has each been awarded a $2,000 scholarship from Consolidated Companies, Inc.

Reed is a graduate of Sandhills High School and plans to study Aggri-Business/English at Concordia University-Nebraska.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Ainsworth High School and plans to study Communication Disorders at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

The Consolidated Company Scholarships are awarded to students in Consolidated’s service area on a competitive bases of high scholarship, service and promise of future contributions as Nebraska leaders and entrepreneurs.
