This is the first girl’s team that has qualified for the state meet since 2009
Coach Jason Daffer stated, “I was happy with how both teams performed at the district meet. I felt the girl’s team did a great job putting themselves in a good position early on in the race, and they were able to move up and pass runners late to help secure that third-place finish. On the boy’s side, they did a good job of handling the expectations of the day. I felt that ran a good race as a team and were able to work through a few things in the race that didn’t go as planned. They did a good job at keeping their composure and getting the job done.”
