Cameron Dee Hall, 82, of Dunning, Neb. passed away Dec. 22, 2021 at the Great Plains Health Hospital in North Platte.

Cam was born Jan. 29, 1939 in Arnold to Cameron K. and Fern (Schroeder) Hall. He lived in a sod house for his first 10 years. He attended Hall Country School and was graduated from Arnold High School in 1957.

After high school, Cam worked as a draftsman in Denver, Colo., then enteried into the nursery and landscapin­g business in Denver and Wheatland Wyo. Cam’s next venture was in the equipment rental and firearms business. He retired to Arnold in 2000.

Cam married Karen Franssen in 1959 but later divorced. He married Gladys Leader in 1973.

Cameron is survived by companion Betty Yeargain; brothers Ellis Hall (Colleen) and Lynn Hall; sisters Larraine Holm, Paula Becker (Bob), Marla Kraut, Arlene Blagdon and Nelda Lynn (Roy); daughter Joeleen K. Hernandez (David); sons William J. “B.J.” Leader (Terry), Frank K. “Hoss” Hall (Jan), Ronald C. “R.C.” Leader (Beth) and Cameron K. Hall (Becky); 10 grandchild­ren Kindra, Krispen, Sarita, Billy, Caleb, Heather, Cody, Jessi, Chelsi and Corey; and 12 great-grandchild­ren.

Cameron was preceded in death by both parents; wife Gladys; and daughter Donna Leader.

Cam enjoyed hunting, shooting, gold mining in Wyoming and California, working with equipment and playing cards. All children were a real joy to Cameron, especially the grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. He also enjoyed pulling pranks and making people laugh. Having never met a stranger, Cam enjoyed talking to friends, new and old.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held at the Arnold Baptist Church in Arnold on April 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Frank Scott officiatin­g.
