Evelyn was born February 16, 1928 in Eddyville to John E. and Luella (Fales) Moninger. Evelyn attended various schools, graduating from Merna High School in 1946.

Evelyn possessed a witty humor and had abundant strength, kindness and compassion. She was passionate about Lawrence Welk, Fox News and family history. She loved dancing, singing, cooking/baking, doll making, talking on the phone, sewing/quilting, drawing, writing, trips to the casino and spending time with her family and friends to catch up on the latest.

She is survived by eight grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn shared many memories with her special friends Dolores and Bob Call.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Sharon; 11 brothers and sisters; one great-grandchild; and numerous great-great-grand children that she is hugging in Heaven. She was eternally grateful for the care provided by the hospice workers to both her and her husband.
