learn how to solve the homeless problem, they would visit the city of San Fernando in the Valley, and they would see there are no homeless, no street cookouts blocking the sidewalks and no graffiti. If you find you need to get away from the filth and you are tired of looking at homeless people going by your home yelling and cussing at no one, take a deserved break and visit the city of San Fernando. What we have here in L. A. is taxation without representation. Do not call the police on the homeless. The police will not even show up to see what the problem is. Enough said.

President Biden’s concern about the shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline due to hackers is well understood.

He is in charge of turning off or canceling pipelines and he has not delegated that decision to anyone else.

— Andy Ooms, Redondo Beach made it known. Next trip, Mexico, to meet with President Obrador to work out the border crisis, and it is a crisis. Harris stated that a visit to the Mexico-U.S. border would just be a “gesture” really. What was her trip to these other countries if not a gesture or photo-op? Councilman Buscaino attacked in Venice Beach

Re “Buscaino: Get rid of homeless agency” (June 8):

Buscaino visits Venice Beach and almost gets attacked by a knife-wielding crazy person, and all of a sudden homeless encampments need to go away. Like I’ve written before, until something happens to our politicians, nothing will get done. Now the next person that needs to see firsthand a major problem would be DA George Gascón, and maybe releasing convicted criminals early might not happen anymore. Until it hits close to home these politicians we pay won’t do a dam thing.

Business as usual?

There will be no change in our lives on June 15, because King Newsom won’t give up his power and release emergency orders. Viva la recall!
