Tatum leads Celtics to 10th straight win

Jayson Tatum made five 3-pointers and scored 32 points and the host Boston Celtics overcame Luka Doncic's second straight tripledoub­le to beat the Dallas Mavericks 138-110 on Friday night and extend their season-best winning streak to 10 games.

Jaylen Brown added 25 points and seven rebounds and the Celtics made 21 3s in their second victory of the season over Dallas. They lead the NBA at 47-12.

Doncic had his 12th triple-double of the season with 37 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists. Kyrie Irving scored 19 points, but shot just 9 of 23 from the field.

Kristaps Porzingis added 24 points for Boston.

KINGS 124, TIMBERWOLV­ES 120 (OT) >> Malik Monk scored 35 of his 39 points in the second half and overtime and visiting Sacramento outlasted Western Conference-leading Minnesota.

Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolv­es' leading scorer, had 11 points in the first half but did not play after halftime due to personal reasons, according to team officials.

Jaden McDaniels led Minnesota with 26 points.

WARRIORS 120, RAPTORS 105 >> Steph Curry scored 25 points, Jonathan Kuminga had 24 and visiting Golden State beat Toronto for its eighth straight road victory. The Warriors have won three in a row overall and 13 of 15.

RJ Barrett scored 23 points for Toronto. All-Star Scottie Barnes injured his left hand late in the first half and did not return.

CAVALIERS 110, PISTONS 100 >> Darius Garland hit eight 3-pointers and scored 29 points, Evan Mobley had 22 points and 17 rebounds and short-handed Cleveland held off host Detroit.

The Cavaliers played without Donovan Mitchell (knee soreness) and Caris LeVert (elbow).

Cade Cunningham led the Pistons (9-50) with 21 points and 10 assists.

76ERS 121, HORNETS 114 >> Tyrese Maxey scored 33 points, Tobias Harris had 31 points and 12 rebounds and host Philadelph­ia beat Charlotte.

The 76ers won for only the second time in six games but remain in the hunt for a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference as they try and stay afloat in the standings until the hopeful return of last season's MVP Joel Embiid. They are 8-17 this season without Embiid and 5-8 since he went down in a Jan. 30 game and eventually needed knee surgery.

Miles Bridges had 27 points and 11 rebounds for Charlotte.

PELICANS 129, PACERS 102 >> Brandon Ingram scored 19 of his 34 points in host New Orleans' franchise recordtyin­g 48-point first quarter and the Pelicans beat Indiana. The Pelicans were 20 of 22 from the field in the first quarter in racing to a 48-26 lead.

Tyrese Haliburton, averaging 21.4 points for the Pacers, was 0 of 7 from the field — 0 of 6 from deep — and did not score.

BUCKS 113, BULLS 97 >> Giannis Antetokoun­mpo dominated with 46 points and 16 rebounds and visiting Milwaukee beat Chicago. The Bulls' DeMar DeRozan became the 35th player in NBA history with 23,000 points. He scored 12 points and was 5 of 13 from the field after missing his first six shots.
