A Virtual Potluck with BFR — This year we’ll be holding a free, online community engagement event in place of our annual fundraiser.

This will be a way for distanced community members to come together to share a virtual meal and stories about how BFR has shifted during the pandemic.

There will be a cooking demo from Chef and board member Jessica Shah. Stick around after the event for music from Mono Verde Collective. Dia de los Muertos Exhibit Opening and Celebratio­n — Beginning with a Day of the Dead Invocation led by Grupo Azteca Tlahuitzca­lli, The Firehouse Art Center will unveil a new exhibit to honor the Día de los Muertos. The Second Friday opening will offer an in-person celebratio­n as well as an online livestream event.
