RTD proposes county service changes

Feedback on proposed route changes will be gathered during virtual public meetings

The Regional Transportation District is hosting virtual public meetings to gather feedback on proposed route changes, including routes in Boulder County.

The proposed changes include: suspending service between the Lookout Road/

Gunpark stop and Heatherwood/devonshire stop on Route 205; reducing weekday service to hourly midday and reducing weekend hours to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for clearly realize that while an apology is an important first step, but it is only that on a long journey to rebuild mutual trust and respect.”

The meeting, which began at 7 p.m., was still going at 9:45 p.m., and the board had not made a decision. route LD, which serves Longmont and Lafayette.

The proposal also cuts service hours for Route 228 to 8 a.m.- 9 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m.- 8 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sundays due to low ridership. RTD’S Flexride is available in Louisville, Superior and Broomfield for earlier service according to the RTD proposal.

Public meetings will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and at noon and 6 p.m. Monday. The 6 p.m. Monday session will be in Spanish.
