His failures keep mounting

We just learned that a right-wing militia group plotted to kidnap and kill Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The FBI charged six militia members. The state attorney general charged seven more members.

The militia members want civil war and anarchy. This militia calls themselves the Wolverine Watchmen. They have been encouraged by President Donald Trump to start a civil war.

Remember when Trump, angered by Whitmer’s COVID-19 restrictions, told the militias to “Liberate Michigan”? He is playing with fire.

We face a real risk of militia violence when Trump loses the election. Vice President Mike Pence refused to answer this question at the debate: “What would you do should (Joe) Biden win the 2020 election and Trump refused to leave the presidency?” He did not answer.

Folks, it may be “Katie bar the door” when the right-wing militias march into town. We have already seen them on Main Street Longmont.

Trump received more $500,000 in treatment in the first week of his COVID-19 infection. He reported that he feels great and that no one should fear COVID-19, suggesting that it is not particularly harmful. This casual attitude will lead more people to ignore the risks and some will die.

Scientific American magazine has never endorsed a presidential candidate in its 175-year history. This year, the magazine said “they are compelled to do so” and they endorsed Biden.

And the New England Journal of Medicine, a 200plus-year-old prestigious publication, never endorsed a presidential
