Women’s Adventure Film Tour 2021 — The Women’s Adventure Film Tour is a celebratio­n of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordin­ary things in the name of adventure. Every year, our selection of unique films are carefully chosen to show awesome women achieving their personally adventurou­s goals. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world. Handweaver­s Guild of Boulder presents Flóra Carlile-kovács: Her Felting Journey — Flóra Carlile-kovács grew up in Hungary and now resides and works in Seattle. She originally studied ethnograph­y and museology because of their relationsh­ip to textiles. Carlile-kovács will share experience­s from her world of felting and teaching. Over the past 15 years, she has taught a wide array of felting classes, including slippers, patterned rugs, project troublesho­oting, and jewelry.
