Women’s Adventure Film Tour 2021 — The Women’s Adventure Film Tour is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. Every year, our selection of unique films are carefully chosen to show awesome women achieving their personally adventurous goals. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world. Handweavers Guild of Boulder presents Flóra Carlile-kovács: Her Felting Journey — Flóra Carlile-kovács grew up in Hungary and now resides and works in Seattle. She originally studied ethnography and museology because of their relationship to textiles. Carlile-kovács will share experiences from her world of felting and teaching. Over the past 15 years, she has taught a wide array of felting classes, including slippers, patterned rugs, project troubleshooting, and jewelry.
