Sunday, Jan. 26: 7 a.m. A Linguica Breakfast will be held by the Yolo Cabrillo Club No. 26at Tumulty Hall, 315 Walnut St., until 11:30 a.m. Portuguese Sweet Breads and Linguica will be available for purchase by preorder. Call 405-7680 to order Linguica on Jan. 17 and Sweet Bread on Jan. 20. The breakfast costs $8 for adults, and $5 for children ages 12 and under, with those kids under age 2, admitted free.

Tuesday, Jan. 28: 6 p.m. The Yolo County Farm Bureau is holding its January Ag Roundtable Meeting featuring Val Dolcini, director of the state Department of Pesticide Regulation. RSVP must be made by Jan. 21to be included at the dinner, to be held at the Buckhorn Restaurant in Winters. Social hour is 6 p.m. with a 7p.m. buffet. The cost for tickets is $45 in advance and $55 at the door. Proceeds benefit the Ag Education Program. Wednesday, Jan. 29: 10:30 a.m. The Yolo County retired teachers of Division 83 are welcoming and hearing from the President of the

California Retired Teachers, Dr. Jim Mahoney, along with their legislativ­e advocate, David Walraith. There will also be a special presentati­on by Kristen Ferries, the Outreach Coordinato­r for the Yolo County CASA , meeting at the Yolo County Office of Education ,1280 Santa Anita Court, Woodland. Call Gil Walker for questions and directions at 661-6449. Thursday, Jan. 30: 7 p.m. Tuleyome will hold a “Nature & You Lecture in Davis at the Mary L. Stephens Davis Branch Library, 315East 14th St., Davis. The lecture is free. It will feature Bob Lew, a part of Al Gore’s internatio­nal Climate Reality Project who will talk about climate change and what people can do now. This lecture is part of the free monthly “Nature and You” lecture series sponsored by Tuleyome. A $5donation to Tuleyome is requested but is not required to participat­e in this event.

Saturday, June 20: Winters Farm to School will host its 9th Annual Summer Feast at the historic Wolfskill Ranch in Winters. Ticket sales will begin on Feb. 1. Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.wintersfar­mtoschool.com. Tickets are also available at ACE Hardware on Main Street in Winters or by calling 7956109. Tickets are $100per person if purchased before April 1. Tickets purchased on or after April 1, are $125 person.
