WOODLAND WEEKLY POLICE REPORT
Indecent Exposure and Burglary: At 6 and 9:40 a.m. on Sept. 15, officers were dispatched to an apartment complex on Elliot Street near West Street after receiving a call on 911 from a victim stating that an unknown man had just entered into his home. The victim was woken up by the sound of the suspect coming into his home. The subject was gone before police arrived. Officers were again dispatched to the same apartment complex for a report of a man on the property that was only covered from the waist up masturbating. When officers arrived the suspect was gone once again but a witness was able to give a description and tell the officers which way the suspect had gone. Officers were able to locate the suspect behind La Superior market where he was identified as 36-year-old Davis resident Jose Indalopez. After having the suspect positively identified as being the same suspect from both calls, Indalopez was arrested and booked into the Yolo County jail on charges of burglary and indecent exposure.
Warrant Arrest: While conducting an extra patrol at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, 2001 East St., at 10:06 p.m. on Sept. 12, an officer contacted Omar Alcarez, who was found to have a warrant out of Sacramento County for felony DUI. Alcaraz was semi-uncooperative and had to be removed from his vehicle and taken into custody. Alcarez was booked at the Yolo County Jail on his warrant and obstructing an officer.
Indecent Exposure: A person called dispatchers at 1:53 a.m. on Sept. 12 to report seeing Anthony Carmon Fusaro a 36-yearold Woodland resident masturbating near 11 W. Court St. Officers arrived and found Fusaro holding a methamphetamine pipe. Methamphetamine was found in Fusaro’s pants. The person arrested Fusaro
for indecent exposure.
Sexual Battery Report: A caregiver at an unidentified care home, called police at 4 p.m. on Sept. 14 to report that a patient was reporting having been sexually battered by another caregiver at the facility. The victim was provided with an advocate and was sent for examination at the Care Center in Sacramento. Police investigators were notified and will conduct a follow-up. An initial report was taken.
Threatening an Officer: Officers contacted Scott Wiley, a 50-year-old Woodland resident at 1001 Main St., yelling threats at officers while they were handling another call. Wiley threatened the contacting officer with violence and challenged him to a fight. Wiley repeated numerous threats and was arrested for making those threats. Before being transported to the jail, Wiley also said he would slit the officer’s throat.
HOST
The Homeless Outreach Street Team reported that the Junk King assisted them with two trucks to clean up 12 camps this past week. Members of the local Army recruiting station also collaborated with HOST to assist in additional cleanup of parks and local areas where transients congregate. HOST arrested one person for having and outstanding warrant and made 71 contacts with the homeless, identified 24 camps, cleaned up 19 camps, and offered services to 48 homeless people with three of them accepting services. There were 11 businesses contacted and six downtown patrols. The city’s social services director and HOST staff also worked together on outreach.
