3 Woodland residents arrested for car break-in
Three Woodland residents were arrested after Yolo County Sherriff’s deputies were dispatched to a possible car break-in.
Deputies were dispatched to the 20000 block of Old River Road near West Sacramento on Sunday after a citizen called regarding several people breaking into a vehicle parked along the roadway, according to a Facebook post from the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office.
Three subjects were found near the car when deputies arrived: Anthony Segura, 36, April Miller, 31, and Brandin Miller, 30. All three are residents of Woodland.
The Sheriff’s Office stated that a rear window had been broken out of the car and that Brandin Miller was covered in fresh oil and grease.
The post stated that methamphetamines were found during the investigation.
A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine smoking material, burglary tools (shaved keys), a battery-operated saw, and five catalytic converters “that all had fresh cut marks where they had been removed from exhaust systems,” according to the post.
Brandin Miller was arrested for vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property, criminal conspiracy, possession of burglary tools and violation of a restraining order; April Miller was arrested for criminal conspiracy, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Segura was arrested for criminal conspiracy, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
All three subjects were transported and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
