Stolen Vehicle

1200 Block of Santa Anita Court: An employee working reported a suspicious vehicle and suspicious persons at their business on Oct. 3at 8:52a.m. The vehicle, a black Land Rover, had previously been reported stolen in Davis. Officers arrived and located the vehicle, which was occupied by Anthony Ellis Winger, 34, of Woodland and Heiley Cox, 32, of Woodland. Winger and Cox were both arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and booked at the Yolo County Jail.

Arson

Main Street and East Street: On Oct. 3 at 10:43 a.m., reported a fire. An officer arrived and located Leonid Mikhaylevs­kiy, 45, of Woodland, in the area. It was determined that Mikhaylevs­kiy intentiona­lly set fire to a campsite and property. Mikhaylevs­kiy was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail.

Robbery

College and Main Street: On Oct. 6 at 9:42 p.m., victims were robbed at gunpoint by one suspect and the other suspect had a hammer in his hand. Both suspects were described as Hispanic men approximat­ely 18-19 years old. Suspects took both victims’ wallets and fled the area. K9Chase attempted a track, but lost the scent.

False Imprisonme­nt

Private residence: Officers responded to a report of a woman being held hostage inside of a residence on Oct. 6 at 12:25 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they were able to confirm that the victim was inside of the residence and not being allowed to leave. Officers freed the victim from the residence and Ali Salim, 35, of Woodland was arrested and booked at Yolo County Jail for domestic violence charges and false imprisonme­nt.

Host

HOST members were off over the last week in training and personal days.

HOST is continuing to monitor and work on reducing the impact of homelessne­ss at Ralph Harris Park and Freeman Park. They are also monitoring and continuing cleanup efforts at the holding pond by CR 102 and E Beamer St.

HOST made 71 contacts, offered services to 15 of them of which four accepted services. There were eight camps located and four camps cleaned up. There were six businesses contacted, 17 downtown patrols and four arrests made.
