Battery: On Jan. 14at aound 11:46p.m., officers were dispatched to County Road. 98and W. Beamer St. for a report of a man down in the roadway on County Road 98near West Beamer Street. Responding officers and medical personnel located a victim at the scene. It was determined the victim had gotten into some sort of physical altercatio­n with unknown suspects after leaving a local bar. The victim suffered non-life-threatenin­g injuries. The victim was transporte­d to the UC Davis Medical Center and later discharged after receiving treatment for his injuries. There are no suspect leads at this time. Robbery / Assault with a Deadly Weapon: On Jan. 17. at around 2:32p.m., store owners from the County Fair Mall called in and reported a male subject was stealing items. The male was identified as Issac Flores, a 21-year-old Woodland resident. Responding Officers located Flores running away near El Patio and detained him. Investigat­ing Officers learned Flores removed items from multiple stores and attempted to run away with them. When a witness attempted to stop Flores at a vehicle, Flores Tased the witness on the arm with a stun gun. Flores then got into a reporter stolen vehicle and drove the vehicle towards the victim, missing him, but colliding with a tree in the parking lot. Flores then fled on foot through JC Penny’s and exited the other side. Flores had committed these Felony crimes while out on bail. Flores was booked at Yolo County Jail for Vehicle Theft, Assault with a Deadly Weapon (vehicle), Robbery, and Committing a Felony while out on Bail.
