Popular Van Gogh exhibit coming to Sacramento
The popular show “Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” is making its way to Sacramento.
Occupying over 30,000 square feet, the exhibit gives guests the opportunity to feel as though they’ve stepped right into one of Van Gogh’s paintings as some of his most beloved and well-known paintings are projected onto the walls and floors.
Over 300 of Van Gogh’s finest works come to life as they are set to an original score while the artwork comes alive disappearing, appearing and flowing across multisurfaces.
The show is set to last approximately one hour and is set up as a walkthrough style exhibit.
Event coordinators have not yet announced where the exhibit will take place, nor when it will happen.
Tickets can only be purchased online and cannot be purchased at the door.

The Artery in Davis has a new exhibit showcasing art in diverse forms.
Louise McGowan Bezark’s art transforms the gourd into a sculpture, celebrating the region, animals and lush plant life. Using fire or pyro-engraving skills, Bezark transforms the humble gourd into a work of art.
Texture detail and cutwork carving are used, before finishing with metal leafing, pine needle weaving and reeded and bamboo handles. The delicate details often have people mistaking her work for glass or ceramic.
Another exhibit available for view at The Artery, located at 207 G. St., is Kathi Gibson’s paint mosaic and canvas pieces that capture moments of feelings and serene moments in time.
“My intention is to give feelings back to a world that is constantly being pushed toward increasing isolation and disconnection,” Gibson stated in a press release from The Artery.
While created with mediums that are extremely diverse, both pieces share a central theme of the show’s overarching theme of peace, inspiration and delight in nature.
The Artery is open seven days a week on Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 12 — 5 p.m. and Friday evenings until 9 p.m.
