Hader gets $95M deal by Astros
Hard-throwing reliever Josh Hader and the Houston Astros agreed to a $95 million, five-year contract on Friday, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal was subject to a successful physical.
Hader will get a $19 million salary in each of the next five seasons, none of it deferred. He gets a full no-trade provision and would receive a $1 million bonus for winning the Mariano Rivera/ Trevor Hoffman Reliever of the Year Award.
He was 2-3 with a 1.28 ERA and 33 saves in 38 chances for San Diego in 61 appearances last season, striking out 85 and walking 30 in 56 1/3 innings.

Sayin had signed with the Crimson Tide this past December. He's the 26th player and second signee to leave Alabama since Saban announced he was leaving earlier this month.

DEAL >> Florida is under NCAA investigation a year after a failed name, image and likeness deal worth more than $13 million with former signee Jaden Rashada.
The Gators released the NCAA's notice of inquiry Friday to The Associated Press and the Tampa Bay Times after the newspaper's lawyers got involved. Both news agencies filed public records requests under the Freedom of Information Act last October.
Rashada signed with Florida last December only to be granted his release a month later after his NIL deal fell through.

BILLS PLAYERS RULED OUT >> Buffalo receiver Gabe Davis and cornerback Christian Benford, both starters, will miss the team's AFC divisional playoff game against Kansas City on Sunday because of knee injuries.
Bills coach Sean McDermott also said Friday that backup safety Taylor Rapp (calf) and backup linebacker Baylon Spector (back) won't play against the Chiefs.
Davis and Rapp will miss their second straight games.
