Clermont Seniors will meet Wednesday

CLERMONT — The Clermont Seniors will meet Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Clermont Firehouse, Route 9G.

A Fall-fest is planned, with music by Frank Nickrewicz. There will also be a speaker talking about health issues. Those attending should bring lunches. Refreshmen­ts will be provided by members whose last names end in L through R.

Seats are still available for the following trips:

• Oct. 30, Octoberfes­t at the Brownstone in New Jersey, with German-style lunch and entertainm­ent.

• Nov. 15, Easy Swing Cabaret Show, with lunch and a visit to the Museum of Art.

• Nov. 28-30, Bethlehem, Pa. Begin the season with a visit to Longwood Gardens, Koziar’s Villae, holiday light displays, Christmas music and more. The cost is $435 per person.

A holiday gathering party is planned for Dec. 9 at noon at Abela’s at the Red Hook Golf Club. Tickets will be on sale at the meeting. The cost is $20 for members, $24 for non-members.

All area residents from Columbia and Northern Dutchess counties are welcome to join the group. Membership is $12 per year. Meetings take place at the firehouse on the first Wednesday of each momth at 11 a.m. Walkins are welcome.
