Kingston shuts out Pine Bush

KINGSTON — Colleen Keegan-Twombly scored three consecutiv­e goals at the start of the second half Monday, as Kingston High pulled away from Pine Bush for a 9-0 victory in Mid-Hudson Athletic League field hockey.

The Tigers (4-0 MHAL, 7-0 overall) built a 4-0 lead during the first half. Claire Loughran assisted on the first two goals by Rebecca Longendyke and Emily Hilliard.

Hilliard made it 3-0 with an assist from Carly Canavan, who converted a penalty stroke for the next goal.
