SARATOGA SPRINGS » Lorraine Green 86, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at her home. Born in Kingston, N.Y., on June 25, 1928, she was the daughter of Raymon and Grace Houst.

Lorraine worked at Sealtest Dairy and later for Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School. She was a former Girl Scout leader and served as Vice President of the Friends of the Schenectad­y Museum. She was an active member of the Woodlin Club and organizer for the Swim Team. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, sewing and needlework.

She was predecease­d by her husband, Donald Green, brother, Douglas Houst, and sister, Gloria Morgan.

Lorraine is survived by her children Nancy Shambo (Michael) of Scotia, N.Y., Linda Zoumaya (Philip) of Ave Maria, Fla., Patricia Rowe (Damian) of Wilton, N.H., Kathleen Doxtader (John) of Hurley, N.Y., Cynthia Green of Santa Maria, Calif., and Karen Green of East Hampton, N.Y.; grandchild­ren, Kaitlin Colson (Neil), Mollyann Shambo, Megan Madden (Joshua), Rita Zoumaya, Daniel Zoumaya, Scott Rowe, Janice Rowe, Jennifer Lin (Jet), Brian Doxtader, David Doxtader (Erin), James Doxtader, Lorenzo Davila Green, Christina Davila Green, Sarah Schiavoni, Mark Schiavoni, Josiah Schiavoni, and Stephen Schiavoni; greatgrand­children Emma Colson, Alexander Colson, Felicity Madden, Augustine Madden, Walter Lin, Andrea Lin, Aedan Doxtader, Sophia Doxtader and Damian Davila Green; brother Robert Houst (Linda); brotherin-law Walter Green (Sherron) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Schenectad­y. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Armer Funeral Home Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa, N.Y.
