Police said Ducker was driving south on Hermance Street around 4:24 p.m. Thursday with her two children, 11 and 8, when she struck the 7-year-old. Authorities said she fled the scene of accident because she had no license.

Soon after, she met her boyfriend, and he agreed to tell authorities he was the

Authorities said the couple returned to the site of the accident and gave police a false statement.

Drucker and Lipscomb were both issued tickets to appear in Ellenville Village Court on Tuesday.

In 2004, the pair was arrested along with three others in the staging of a bank robbery in connection with an alleged embezzlement scheme in Ellenville.
