Ashland • Menacing:
Joseph K. Casazza, 23, of Ashland, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:56 a.m. Thursday on county Route 10 in Ashland and was charged with menacing with a weapon, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
Cairo • Drugs:
Brett A. Mickle, 30, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on state Route 32 in Cairo and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mickle was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
Esopus • Drugs:
Joshua E. Bahl, 26, of Port Ewen, was arrested by members of the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team on Wednesday afternoon and was charged with attempted sale of a controlled substance, a felony, and sale of an imitation controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Bahl’s arrest followed an investigation of narcotics sales in Esopus, during which heroin was purchased from Bahl, authorities said. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Town of Kingston • DWI:
Daniel W. Oday, 58, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:55 p.m. Thursday on state Route 28 in the town of Kingston and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and illegally parking a car, an infraction. Oday was released with tickets for Kingston Town Court.

• Failure to pay child support: Neil K. Laviola, 29, of Highland, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 10:40 p.m. Thursday and was charged on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support, a Family Court violation. Laviola, initially sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail, was released after posting bail pending a court appearance.
New Paltz • Drugs:
Kyle E. Bliss, 29, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:15 a.m. Friday on state Route 32 in the town of New Paltz and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation. Bliss was released with tickets for New Paltz Town Court.
• DWI: Brett A. Fitzgerald, 19, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:40 a.m. Friday on state Route 299 in the town of New Paltz and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with the infractions of failure to keep right and moving from lane unsafely. Fitzgerald was released with tickets for New Paltz Town Court.
Red Hook • Drugs/DWAI:
William M. Bell, 24, of Rockaway, N.J., was arrested by Red Hook police at 8:20 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 9 in Red Hook and was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, a violation. Bell was released with tickets for Red Hook Town Court.
Rosendale • DWI:
Isaac B. Lefevre, 30, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:48 p.m. Thursday on state Route 32 in Rosendale and charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, and with the infraction of having no or insufficient tail lights. Lefevre was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
